Staff networks
We have a number of staff support network groups that staff can become members of. The networks provide a safe forum where colleagues can discuss and help resolve issues.
They offer a space for individuals from across the organisation to get together, raise awareness of challenges and issues they may be facing, share ideas and most importantly, offer one another support.
We currently have the following active staff networks:
- Ethnic minority group
- Women’s network
- Men’s network
- Ability group network
- LGBTQ+ network
- Age – older employees network
- Working carers group

Schwartz Rounds
Schwartz Rounds are a confidential forum where staff come together regularly to discuss the emotional and social aspects of working in healthcare.
A panel of staff prepare stories they would like to tell to start off with, then the group reflects and shares experiences together. Staff are welcome to share as much or little as they would like. All contributions are of equal value, including your presence.
The rounds are a confidential space in which patient and staff identities are protected.
This is protected time for staff and you gain CPD points for attending.
Details of upcoming Schwartz Rounds are routinely shared in staff bulletins and on SharePoint.
