We are currently running a pilot to help eligible patients and carers to get their flu vaccination whilst in our hospitals.
If you are attending either our North Tees or Hartlepool hospital sites this winter as an outpatient, inpatient on our wards or attending our urgent and emergency care service, you may be approached by one of our peer vaccinators to ask if you may want your vaccine whilst in our care.
You are eligible for the free NHS flu vaccine if you:
- are aged 65 or over
- have certain long-term health conditions
- are pregnant
- live in a care home
- are a carer
- live with someone who has a weakened
- immune system
- are experiencing homelessness
You can also book a flu vaccination through your GP or pharmacy
