How to get your flu jab

Staff will be able to get their flu jabs via:

Designated drop in clinics (see below)
Peer flu champions (a list of flu champions will be available below)
Bookable appointments

Everyone vaccinated during October will be automatically entered into a prize draw for the chance to win a fantastic hamper, kindly donated by The Volunteers’ Coffee Lounge.

Be wise, immunise. Protect yourself, your loved ones, patients and colleagues by getting your flu vaccine as early as possible.

North Tees occupational health appointments

For staff wishing to obtain their flu vaccine, please email [email protected] to check for availability within the occupational health, second floor, South Wing, UHNT – by appointment only, no drop-ins. Please include that you are North Tees and Hartlepool staff in your email.

Hartlepool appointment booking

Please email [email protected]t if you are based at University Hospital of Hartlepool and have not been able to obtain your flu vaccine so arrangements can be made.

What do I need when I get my flu jab?

When you get your jab, you’ll be asked to fill in a slip (which you can download and pre-full below) and advised to add:

Your personal details – Including your date of birth
Your payroll number – Your payroll number can be found by logging in to ESR and is on your payslip as ‘assignment number’. If you are not paid by the trust (e.g resident doctors), you can leave the payroll number blank.
Your NHS number – If you don’t know it, you can find your NHS number online or on your NHS App. If you don’t know or can’t easily find your NHS Number, don’t worry, you can still get your jab.
