Target audience
This qualification is for people who work with or look after children, enabling them to have skills and knowledge of how to deal with paediatric first aid situations which can arise when looking after children. The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework requires all early years’ providers in England to have at least one person who has a current and full paediatric first aid certificate on the premises and available at all times when children are present.
This two day course satisfies the guidelines and criteria as laid down by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and OFSTED. It is therefore ideal for individuals who wish to gain a nationally accredited Level 3 Award.
In order to obtain this qualification, you must attend either both days, or complete the online requirement and one day course, to complete the 2 units of accreditation.
