Be wise, immunise – top up your protection against flu this winter! Help protect yourself, your loved ones, patients and colleagues by getting your flu vaccine as early as possible.
Flu fortnight
There’s no need to book, just come along with your payroll number and NHS number.
If you don’t know or can’t easily find your NHS Number, don’t worry, you can still get your jab.
University hospital of North Tees
From December vaccinators will be at either the main Concourse or vaccine hub. The website will update on the correct venue – so keep an eye out for updates on the location.

What do I need when I get my flu jab?
When you get your jab, you’ll be asked to fill in a slip (which you can download and pre-full below) and advised to add:
Your personal details – Including your date of birth
Your payroll number – Your payroll number can be found by logging in to ESR and is on your payslip as ‘assignment number’. If you are not paid by the trust (e.g resident doctors), you can leave the payroll number blank.
Your NHS number – If you don’t know it, you can find your NHS number online or on your NHS App. If you don’t know or can’t easily find your NHS Number, don’t worry, you can still get your jab.

You can choose to fill in your vaccination slip before attending to speed up getting the jab on the day.

Vaccination prize draw
Staff who have their flu vaccine in October will be automatically entered into our vaccination prize draw to be in with a chance of winning a Nutribullet or airfryer.
