We participate in a number of local and national studies in the diagnosis, genetics and treatment of liver disease and its complications in conjunction with the research and development department, part of the Tees Valley Research Alliance.
If you are interested in being involved in research studies, please ask the consultant or liver nurse specialist looking after you whether any of the current studies are suitable.
Most studies have specific entry requirements and your consultant may approach you to ask if you are interested in participating.
