As part of the Government’s commitment to improve the transparency of how public funds are used, central government is required to publish all its expenditure over £25,000.
HM Treasury has confirmed that this requirement now applies to all NHS bodies. As such, North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust must publish all expenditure for invoices over £25,000.
Salary payments to staff are excluded from the scope of these disclosures, as are any invoices that are protected under the Data Protection Act.
