We are pleased to welcome visitors to our wards.
Please help us keep everyone as safe as possible:
- Always wash or gel your hands when entering and leaving our wards and hospitals
- Ensure no more than two visitors are at a patient’s bedside at any one time
Please note some high risk areas may ask visitors to wear a face covering and some visiting restrictions will continue to be required from time to time on wards where two or more patients have COVID-19 to help keep patients and visitors safe.
Visiting times
Visiting times for our wards can be found:
- University Hospital of North Tees ward visiting times
- University Hospital of Hartlepool ward visiting times
There’s no need to make an appointment unless you wish to visit a patient in critical care.
Please do not visit if:
You have tested positive for COVID-19
You have respiratory symptoms
You have symptoms of an infectious disease
You have had sickness or diarrhoea in the last 48 hours
Visit the NHS website for more advice on symptoms and testing.
If you are unable to visit why not ask the ward about arranging a virtual visit using one of our ward iPads?
