- The team were presented their award by Chief information and technology officer Graham Evans who congratulated the team on their achievements and thanked them for contributing to the success that is team North Tees and Hartlepool.
- It is lovely to hear how much respect patients and family members have for the team and how they build a trusting relationship with them. The team will drop everything in order to facilitate the best outcome for a patient and their families.
- I have known them to drive to patient’s home’s to drop off equipment in order to prevent a remittance, make countless phone calls to external agencies in order to ensure that everything is in place that should be or to make arrangements when something has been missed and I have known them to move heaven and heaven and earth to respect patient’s and families wishes so that patient’s can spend their last hours how they desired.
- I am very proud to work alongside this team. I always look at a team or department and ask myself the question as to whether or not I would want a team to care for me or more importantly my loved one’s. This team hit every single value that our Trust and the NHS are about and they are an invaluable asset to our Trust.
