North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust and South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust came together to operate under a group model as University Hospitals Tees in 2024.
Since then, we have aligned our executive and leadership teams, most recently introducing clinical service units to manage clinical teams across both organisations, and launched our new UHT values and Caring Better Together Strategy.
As our University Hospitals Tees (UHT) group continues to develop, we are seeking the views of patients, families and our wider community to help shape the future of local hospital services.
Over recent months, we have been meeting patient groups and hosting sessions in local libraries and colleges to understand what matters most to people about their healthcare. We have already received more than 1,000 responses.
We now want to ensure we are capturing the views of our patients within the Richmondshire area.
There will be the opportunity to visit our team delivering the survey in person on:
- Tuesday 4 August, Market House, Hawes, DL83QN, between 9.30am to 4.30pm
If you are unable to join us, you can also complete the survey online until 31 August 2026.
Get involved
If you, or someone you care for in the Richmondshire area, has used the Friary, community health services or any of our other University Hospitals Tees’ services in recent months please get involved.
Our survey is asking you about:
- recent care you or your loved ones may have experienced
- what matters most to you as a patient
- how you think our services should develop in future
Take five minutes to share your views by completing the online survey or attending our latest UHT roadshow event on:
- Tuesday 4 August, Market House, Hawes, DL83QN, between 9.30am to 4.30pm
The survey or drop-in session is a chance to capture how health and care across the region should be working to reflect the needs of the people who live here, the real issues and opportunities for all of the communities University Hospitals Tees supports.
Your feedback will play an important role in informing our future plans and improvements.
