Every year North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust holds elections for its council of governors.
Each of our governors play an important role in our organisation by influencing local health services on behalf of our patients and public by making immediate and long-term positive change.

If you would like to stand for governor, you must first be a member of the Trust.
2024 Governor elections key dates
- Friday 22 March 2024: Notice of Election/nominations open
- Tuesday 23 April 2024: Nominations deadline
- Wednesday 24 April 2024: Summary of valid nominated candidates published
- Friday 26 April 2024: Final date for candidate withdrawal
- Wednesday 15 May 2024: Notice of Poll published
- Thursday 16 May 2024r: Voting packs despatched
- Tuesday 11 June 2024: Close of election
- Wednesday, 12 June 2024: Declaration of results
