Staff shuttle bus service

Colleagues who would like to travel between University Hospitals Tees sites can benefit from a free shuttle transport service.

From Wednesday 1 April, the medical equipment services (MES) team will be running a shuttle bus on a trial period for three months between:

The James Cook University Hospital
Community Diagnostic Centre (Stockton high street)
University Hospital of North Tees

The shuttle transport services will run from Monday to Friday during the trial period.

How to book

If you would like to reserve a place, please email [email protected] stating your travel destination and the date and time of your required journey.

You will only be able to book up to five days in advance, and you must book at least 24 hours in advance. Bookings must be made between 8am and 4pm Monday to Friday and you must include your contact number in your email.

Please note: This is a staff-only service.

About the shuttle bus

There is a maximum of 16 places available for each transport run and the service will run from Monday to Friday.

Once you send your booking email, you will receive an email reply from the booking team either giving you a reference number confirming your place or informing you that there are no places available.

If you are given a reference number, you will need to produce it to the driver when you board the bus, which can be either printed from your confirmation email or on your phone.

Without the reference evidence being produced, you will not be able to travel on that journey.

If a staff member makes a booking and is unable to travel, please inform the MES team as soon as possible. If you do not inform that you are unable to come once you have made a booking, the team may exclude you from future bookings.
