Our occupational therapy team provide adults and children with assessments, treatment, advice and information to help them from unnecessarily having to be brought into hospital, hospice or residential care.
We understand that an illness and injury can affect not only your life, but your family, friends or carers and our team get to work in supporting you as soon as you are referred to us by your consultant, nurse or allied health professional.
Our highly trained team, work in both our hospitals and in the community and will carry out a detailed assessment to see how they can help you to live as independently as possible. Our team works in many different specialities, some work extended hours and some provide care seven days a week.
We will set goals and a plan for your rehabilitation. You will be involved in the decision making process every step of the way.
We will supply any specialist equipment and make any adjustments needed to help you.
