Families touched by the loss of a baby are invited to attend a special baby loss memorial service at the University Hospital of North Tees.
The service, hosted by the Trust’s chaplaincy team, will take place on Sunday 10 December, 3pm, in the Spirituality Centre in the University Hospital of North Tees.
Tragedy
Lead chaplain Reverend Jim Wright said: “Losing a baby is a tragedy, one of the worst thing anyone can endure.
“We hold this special service so families can come together, to remember their precious loss and we hope, find strength in one another. We welcome families of any, or no faith – grief is grief, regardless of one’s beliefs.
“While we have personally invited parents who have experienced such a tragic loss in the last year, we would like to extend an invitation to any family touched by baby loss at any time in the past to come and join us.
“We hope that this quiet, reflective service can provide some peace and support to families who have experienced this most terrible loss.”
