The Trust has launched its latest business intelligence tool, YellowFin.
The number of compliments, complaints, incidents are just some of the things the new state-of-the-art system can help monitor progress.
Yellowfin is said to help services and business ‘Get to the WHY faster – Quality business intelligence at your finger tips’.
The trust is in the first phase of building departmental dashboards which include quality agenda, cancer performance and treatment referrals.
The event was a chance to invite staff from all areas across the organisation to showcase this exciting new project and demonstrate the benefits of the tool.
This system is a very easy and convenient way of both clinical and non-clinical areas being able to analyse data that will help inform their everyday business and as we progress, areas with an interest in data, will be able to receive training to help them build their own dashboards and platforms.
Lindsey Wallace, head of performance, planning and service development
Keith Wheldon, business intelligence manager, said: “This is really just the beginning of an exciting phased project. The benefits are already being seen in the departments who have established their own areas on the dashboard.
“This is something which will benefit everything and lead to improvements to the care we provide to our patients.”
