Embracing Change
Overview:
We invite you to attend our second annual medical education conference. The conference will focus on sharing experiences from a range of clinicians around embracing change and doing things differently.
Sessions include:
- Introduction to UHT and our vision for an integrated academy
- Health care and the impact upon our Oceans – the need for change
- A workshop on psychological safety during change based upon Brene Browns ‘Dare to Lead’ methodology
- Trainee poster competition ‘Celebrating our trainees’
Learning outcomes include:
- Reflection, insight and understanding of experiences
- Embracing change
- Personal growth
- How can medical education be different
Keynote speakers include Dr Richard Hixson and Julie McVeigh.
Target audience:
Consultants, postgraduate doctors, medical students, educators, nursing staff and any other member of staff with an interest in medical education.

All cancellations need to be made through your account. For those who do not attend without cancellation, your line manager will be notified and a possible charge may be incurred. All paid events have a strict cancellations policy.
