Have a moment of calm while learning more about the history of tea and Hartlepool.
University Hospitals Tees’ arts council are working with Hartlepool Museums to run a ‘Time for Tea’ health and wellbeing event aimed at patients, staff and visitors at the University Hospital of Hartlepool.
These workshops will be ran by Miki Rogers who has worked for a number of years on designing, curating and project managing arts and cultural programmes. The focus of the tea blending workshop is to discuss the scents and memories of Hartlepool. At the end of the session the participants will hopefully to be able to blend a tea that represents Hartlepool, as well as promoting a moment of calm and learning more about the history of tea and of Hartlepool.
How to book:
Each session can accommodate 6-10 members of staff in the health academy and will last approximately one hour. If you would like to participate could you please contact Freya Purcell at Hartlepool Museum on [email protected] to register your attendance.
