Staying on a ward overnight
If you have to stay in hospital overnight you will usually stay on a ward.
When you stay on a ward for one or more nights you are called an inpatient.
Inpatients should bring
Packing the things you will need to bring into hospital:
- Pajamas or nightie
- Dressing gown
- Slippers
- Underwear
A bag with:
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
- Soap
- Towel
- Shower gel
- Shampoo
- Deodorant
- Magazines or books
- A small amount of money for the shop
- Phone charger
Hospedia
You will need money to buy a card to be able to watch the television or use the phone.
The radio is free.
You may have to stay in hospital overnight or for a few days.
