The maiden castle physiotherapy team are an experienced group of staff who are well versed in managing injuries sustained from a range of sports.
Our physiotherapists are experienced and trusted NHS practitioners. Alongside a wealth of experience in sports injuries, they have also dealt with patients with non-sports related injuries and conditions.
Our sports massage therapist has many years of experience in working with athletes from a range of disciplines.
All of our staff are experienced in treating all areas of the human body.
Amy Coleman
Qualified with a BSc (Hons) in physiotherapy and has over four years experience. Amy has successfully completed accredited post graduate courses in Acupuncture for pain relief, level 3 personal training, hypermobility, pitchside and sports trauma management and suturing and wound management. Amy studying for an MSc in manual therapy and will juggle this with working full time. Amy has a keen interest in fitness and body building has successfully treated athletes from a range of sports.
Mike Geritz
Qualified with a BSc (Hons) in physiotherapy and has over 15 years experience. He has successfully undertaken a range of additional accredited postgraduate courses and qualifications such as a PGCE, PgC in the therapeutic management of the athlete and a diploma in fitness. He has also successfully completed courses in acupuncture for pain relief, Society of Orthopaedic medicine modules; suturing and wound management and pitchside management. Mike has a keen interest and experience in sports physiotherapy. Mike has experience in working with athletes from a range of sports including rowing, rugby, golf, netball and mixed martial arts.
Ryan Pearson
Qualified with a MSc in physiotherapy and has over seven years experience. He has previously achieved a BSc in sports rehabilitation. He has successfully undertaken a range of additional accredited postgraduate courses and qualifications such as a PgC in manual therapy and acupuncture for pain relief, pitchside and sports trauma management and suturing and wound management. Ryan has a wealth of experience in treating athletes and has worked with sports teams and also athletes at the Commonwealth games in Glasgow and the European Games in Baku.
Chris Tarn
Qualified with a BSc (Hons) in physiotherapy and has over nine years experience. He has successfully undertaken a range of additional accredited postgraduate courses and qualifications such as a PgC in manual therapy, a PgC in advanced musculoskeletal studies and acupuncture for pain relief, pitchside and sports trauma management and, suturing and wound management. Chris is also a qualified to level 3 with Kinesio UK tutor and has tutored a number of postgraduate Kinesiotaping courses. Chris has a wealth of experience in treating athletes from a range of sports and has worked with sports teams and also athletes at the European Games in Baku.

Alan is due to start studying for an MSc in manual therapy and will juggle this with working full time. Alan has a wealth of experience in treating athletes and has worked with sports teams.
Andy Wood
Qualified with a BSc (Hons) in physiotherapy and has over two years experience. He has successfully completed a range of post graduate courses such as the athletic shoulder, hamstring injuries, sporting foot and ankle and has successfully completed accredited courses in pitchside and sports trauma management and suturing and wound management and sports massage. Andy is due to start studying for an MSc in manual therapy and will juggle this with working full time. He has in interest in hockey and winter sports.
Alison Haddick
Qualified in BSc (Hons) in physiotherapy and has over eight years experience. She has successfully undertaken a range of additional accredited postgraduate courses and qualifications such as a PgC in manual therapy and is working towards an MSc while working full time. She also holds a diploma in fitness. She has successfully completed accredited courses in acupuncture for pain relief, pitchside and sports trauma management and suturing and wound management and Kinesiotaping level 1 and 2. Alison has a wealth of experience in treating athletes and has worked with sports teams.
Kathryn Henderson
Has a VCTC in sports massage and also undertakes reflexology. She has over 12 years experience. She has experience in treating athletes from a range of sports and has covered sporting events.
