Our first ever Christmas Fair was a great success!
Stalls of all shapes and sizes lined the corridors of the University Hospital of North Tees on 6 December, raising money for local causes, small businesses and the trust’s own charity, North Tees and Hartlepool Together.
The fair was opened by the Harrow Gate primary academy school choir who captured the crowds, with their beautiful singing (and dance moves!). Abbey Hill school also brought along a stall of their own and a team of children to help out!
Santa’s grotto was a huge hit with the children and staff, who loved meeting the man in red and his very helpful elves. After visiting Santa, the children hurried across to the gingerbread decorating stall where they could also make some handmade cards to take home.
We were able to raise over £600 for the trust’s charitable fund but more importantly, the fair was a fantastic opportunity to bring the local community together and spread plenty of festive cheer.
Well done everyone who took part and we will certainly see you again next year!
