Social media photo inspired me to make that change
It was just under a year ago when Nigel Ghani was presented with an Amazon Echo as part of a give-away from the trust’s employee engagement team to help promote the NHS Staff Survey.
It was through the coverage this had on the trust’s social media pages that inspired Nigel to make a change in his life.That change has led to Nigel losing an amazing three stone – something he says has made him feel so much better in himself.
Nigel said: “It is thanks to the coverage on the Facebook page which made me step back and want to make that change.“I’ve always been someone who has lived healthily – but steadily I had gained some weight some months previously.
“I made a real effort to change that and follow a regular healthy diet and exercise. It quickly made a difference and I feel so much better in myself.
“My message to anyone who wants to make that change is that – with some motivation and commitment to it – you can do it.”
