A health trust held an official opening for a new physiotherapy service in Durham.
The team from North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust held a meet and greet event to allow people to look round the facilities, talk to all of the team and find out more.
The service, based at the Graham Sports Centre in Maiden Castle in Durham, is provided by the trust’s physiotherapists, offering services to the athletes of Team Durham at Durham University and to members of the public in the area.
Clinical team lead Chris Tarn said: “The event was a great opportunity to showcase the fantastic facilities here at Maiden Castle and the very experienced team of physiotherapists we have working here.
“Our specialist team offer physiotherapy for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions including sports injuries, joint and muscle pains as well as spinal problems.
“The team assess and provide tailored treatment programmes to help get people back on track, achieve their overall fitness goals and offer preventative advice to help stay pain free.
“Over recent months we have established ourselves at Maiden Castle and are now looking to expand and wish to highlight the service to people further afield
