Award-winning Jennings Motor Group has teamed up with the trust to support a new advertising campaign initiative – the first of its kind to be launched across the region.
Jennings Motor Group, which operates Ford, Kia, Mazda, SEAT and Mitsubishi dealerships across the north east, has signed up to a six-month advertising contract with North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation which serves around 400,000 people in Stockton, Hartlepool and parts of County Durham.
The aim of the campaign, which has initially introduced at the University Hospital of North Tees in Stockton, is to promote the Motability programme available across Jennings Motor Group’s branch network.
The advertising campaign, which includes lift sponsorship, poster displays in patient waiting areas and car parking bay advertising, is already proving to be a success with a number of enquiries having already been generated, in addition to new customers being signed up to the Motability programme with Jennings.
Jill Wilson, group Motability specialist based at Jennings Ford’s dealership in Stockton, said: “We are delighted to have teamed up with North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust and to launch the new Motability advertising campaign.
“Being given the opportunity to promote our products and services within the public sector, will allow us to reach a wide target audience.”
Commercial manager for North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust Tony Wilson said: “We’re delighted to have signed a contract with Jennings Motor Group to promote Motability.
“We’ve already seen an increase in the number of people contacting Jennings so we know this type of advertising is effective By carrying adverts, we can also support patient care by bring in additional income.”
The Motability programme is available at any Jennings Ford, Kia, Mazda, SEAT and Mitsubishi dealerships where dedicated Motability specialists and deputy specialists are on hand to see to individual needs and requirements.
In order to qualify for a vehicle through Motability, customers must be in receipt of either the Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance; Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment; Armed Forces Independence Payment or War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement.
In addition to being given the option of being able to choose a new car every three years and nominate up to two drivers, the worry-free Motability package also includes insurance, servicing and maintenance, full breakdown assistance from the RAC, free replacement tyres and windscreen replacement at no extra cost.
Customers can also take advantage of a number of additional services on offer at Jennings’ branches, including a Home Visit service for those who are unable to visit the dealership in person, in addition to an Adaptation service, which allows a vehicle to be specifically adapted to meet individual needs.
