Welcome to the department of audiology .
The department provides a complete diagnostic and hearing aid rehabilitation service making special provision for deaf and hearing impaired patients and offering guidance and support to patients and their families.
We carry out a wide range of tests to determine the presence, nature and extent of hearing loss and and balance disorders to diagnose a range of hearing related conditions.
We also care for the long term management and rehabilitation of the hearing impaired with specialist management of tinnitus sufferers and clinics for the safe removal of wax.
How do I access the service
If you have not been to us before and wouyld like an assessment of your hearing or advice on hearing aids please visit your GP who will refer you, even if you are from out of the area.
